Handmade with love in North Adams, Massachusetts. This onion was made from 100% eco friendly materials - a combination of reclaimed beige and white upholstery fabric which has the most wonderful texture, and little scraps of green fleece. It is stuffed with polyester fiberfill made from recycled plastic bottles, and the little roots are made from secondhand embroidery thread.
The onion pieces were cut by hand and machine sewn with hand sewn finishing. There were no patterns or templates used, so all onions have a very organic look and feel with slight variations from one to the next. Onions are approximately life size (approximately 6" tall including the green shoots), and absolutely perfect for picnic time with teddies or cooking in play kitchens!
